Laila Ali: Gives Birth To Son

Laila Ali, Muhammad Ali’s daughter, gave birth to a son, Curtis Muhammad Conway August 26 and announced his arrival on her website today.

Ali, a professional boxer, and retired NFL star Curtis Conway will no doubt have high expectations for their son, nicknamed “CJ” for Curtis Junior, to be athletically involved.

“Although mom and baby are both healthy and happy, there were some surprises during labor that altered Laila’s birth plan,” the statement said.

This is the first child for Ali while Conway has twin sons Kelton and Cameron, 13, and daughter Leilani, 9, from a previous relationship.
