Lionel Richie is a Bad Father

Nicole and Lionel smallerReporters caught up with the grandfather-to-be at the Essence Music Festival on Saturday and asked him about his daughter’s current legal problems. He responded,

“She keeps apologizing to me, I told her, you’re doing exactly what you’re supposed to be doing to your father at this age”

And just to be clear, he’s not talking about sneaking out of the house to smoke pot with friends. He’s talking about his daughter’s two drunk driving convictions and her possible year-long jail sentance.

I thought breaking the law and putting other people in danger was a bad thing, but if that’s what we’re supposed to be doing, then horray! Rush hour traffic is WAY more fun after a few jager bombs anyway.

      He’s kinda right…people make stupid decisions when they’re young…not everyone, but quite a few. I think it’s good that he’s understanding. Her mistakes are worst than most, but it’s kinda expected.
