Madonna: Says She’s Not Getting Divorced

Rumors have been swirling about Madonna and Guy Ritchie getting divorced and the material girl is also being blamed for Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez’s impending divorce.

A-Rod and Madonna are linked by their manager Guy Oseary and claim to be just friends but when the singer showed up at a Yankees game, some thought that might suggest an affair because of the divorce chatter.

Madge’s rep issued a statement denying the A-Rod affair as well as the impending divorce and now Madonna herself has issued a response to the rumors.

She tells People magazine, “My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce. I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us.

I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study.”(The Yankee has been immersing himself recently in Madonna’s religion of choice, Kabbalah.)

She isn’t bothered by the rumors saying, “I have learned over the years not to take accusations and the many false reports about me very seriously.

I also appreciate how fiction and fact seem to be perceived as one and the same by people who read both newspapers and the internet.”

Translation: Thanks for writing about me and keeping my career alive this long but all those people that double dip and read BOTH newspapers and the internet, quit reading so damn much.
