Matthew McConaughey’s Dad: Died During Sex

Matthew McConaughey had to cringe at this image. His mother, Kay, revealed in her book I Amaze Myself! that Matthew’s dad died while having sex with her.

“On Monday mornings, he and I often said goodbye by making love,” Kay McConaughey tells Us Weekly. “But one day, all of a sudden, it just happened. I knew that something was wrong, because I didn’t hear anything from him. Just nothing,” she says. “But it was just the best way to go!”

When Matthew’s pop was wheeled out, Kay made sure not to hide anything.

“I was just so proud to show off my big old Jim McConaughey — and his gift,” she says.

While she was at it, she also threw in that Matthew being born was an accident.

“I was deciding, ‘Do I want to have another baby? Do I want to have an affair? Or go back to school?’” she says. “That’s when Matthew was conceived. We had tried for 16 years and no baby. So Matthew was a big surprise!”

There’s so many things wrong with this situation. First of all, this thing screams publicity stunt and while dying during sex probably would get McConaughey’s late pop props by males everywhere, Matthew doesn’t need to suffer because of it.

That’s still pretty gross. Either she was doing something very right or something very wrong.

Wow. Poor Matt. At least he knows how his new son, Levi, would feel if he ever thought sharing weird sex stories would be a good plan.
