who cares how old her boyfriend is? she’s 16. In Michigan the age of consent for sex is 16,by law,as far as sex is concerned,here and in quite a few other states she is an adult.
That aside, no where does it even say she’s having sex with the guy, so how is she doing anything wrong?
It is absolutley NO business of ANYONES except her and her family who she dates.
On a side note, if you have a child that sees someone on TV dating an older guy, and decides that they want to date older guys because of that, you have epically failed as a parent.
Sorry but it’s true. If you haven’t explained anything to your kids,and you’re too scared to have “the talk” with them, you’re just asking for them to do something stupid.
A good parent would explain that until you are the legal age in your state to have sex,you shouldn’t do so, and that just because someone else does something,doesn’t make it cool or alright.
A lot of parents these days just sit their kids infront of the TV and expect it to raise their kids for them, and instead of monitoring what they watch or listen to, they just let the kids have free roam over dozens of channels that air things inappropriate for them. Parents like that shouldn’t have the right to even have children.

I have a 4 year old grandaughter, who loves watching your show and trys to mock you in which is fine for me. and to know the truth of it all, is I’ll be right there to coach her through it. pointing out the good and bad if there’s any. right now at her age there will be plenty more role models out there.than I can use you Miley as a good example. to say hey, look at this girl… Miley wasn’t like that ,not at all. people need to be a little more polite with their cut downs, and add something nice about you to say, cause our kids are reading this too you know. stop thinking so negative are you not happy with your own life to have to cut down another… must be. what’s the big deal if Miley is dating a 22 year old she is 16 and if I can remember a lot of guys tend to go for younger girls all the time it’s not like she’s 13 girls are more mature than guys and if her parents are okay with it why are these parents having issues with it. it’s only not okay if she’s sneaking behind her parents back and if they are having sex and i’m sure there not. I even know back in the day my uncle dating my aunt when she was 16 and he was 21 and they ended up getting married when she was older and they still are so i just think if you are worried she’s not the best role model for your kid than just talk to your kids about how you feel about what miley does so you’re kids won’t do those same things I mean I grew up watching and looking up to Britney Spears and the same thing back then she wasn’t a good role model but at the end of the day their both human beings who you can’t expect to be perfect all the time just because they are famous.
