I agree. Chill out. She’s a kid. I did the same things when I was her age and I didn’t have my first child until just after my 7th wedding anniversary. She’s being a girl. It’s obvious the pictures were taken in the privacy of her home and not meant to leave the house. I would be suspicious of the friend.

Let’s be honest theres really only one “nasty” picture of Miley. of coarse i’m speaking of the underwear shot but the bikini…psh! I would say the bikini pic is her. So what if she wears a bikini? What good looking girl or woman dosen’t? I know she is 15 and all but she is a hottie. Eyeroll, I’ve just got to comment on you saying that Miley is a great role model for your daughters…..NO CELEBRITY, NO ACTOR/ACTRESS, NO SINGER, etc should be a ROLE MODEL for anyone’s children! YOU should be your children’s role models. That’s the problem with kids today- parents are showing them these other kids or celebrities and saying “model yourself after him/her”. YOU should be the person your kids want to be like. That motivates YOU to be the best that you can be. I tell my girls “these celebrities are not to be envied. They have more problems than most people. It’s okay to enjoy what entertainment they bring you….but we have to live in the REAL WORLD”. I encourage my girls to find ways to improve the world around them- their own little piece of the world, NOT to put celebrities up on pedestals. I tell them that celebrities will ALWAYS let you down when you look up to them, so just keep them at eye level and enjoy what they bring to you, but keep it in perspective.
To those of you who don’t believe teenagers take pictures of themselves half naked: WHAT DREAM WORLD ARE YOU LIVING IN? I personally am 18 and never went through the half-naked stage, but a lot of my friends did. My younger brother is 14 and a lot of his girl friends who are 14ish ARE going through the half naked stage. It’s kinda scary to look at girls myspaces who are only 14 and have a half naked picture as their default, or even in their albums….. it happens. At least she’s not naked.

Are you kidding me? Has it been confirmed that it is really M? My daughter is 8 years old. She adores Miley Cyrus. I am glad. I have watched Hanna Montana, I listen carefully to all of her lyrics on the CDs my daughter has. She seems to me to be a great kid with a solid head on her shoulders. Her songs are possitive and happy. I hope she stays that way, and doesn’t let the world drag her down! As far as the comment made by the mom over role models, I admire your theory, but get real. Kids will idolize stars. I am the MOST IMPORTANT role model for my daughter, but I am not naive enough to believe that I will be the ONLY role model. As kids grow, they will make their own decisions. I think the best thing we can do is teach them values, to believe in their dreams, and guide them to make the right choices. Oh, wow, I do believe that is how Miley was raised! Lighten up people! I doubt that it is actually Miley taking the pics - I don’t think this girl really resembles her all that much.
In her local community (La Canada, California) she was a kid we had our daughters avoid even before she became “Hannah Montana.” She’s not the only young celebrity in the community, but is the only one I’ve ever steered one of my daughters away from.
The public image is carefully managed, with a father that appears to be very concerned about their showbusiness careers and not so worried about bringing up a young lady.
It’s a real shame, but it’s difficult to see her fairing well on a personal level in the long run.
If she was not adored by all the young children, I would not think anything of it, however, just Sunday night I watched a 3 year old singing her songs, so children are highly influenced by her actions and she should make a public apolgy and straighten up or we will have another Britney on our hands and God knows, I think the world is sick of hearing of her problems.

None of my friends do, and especially we dont post them on the internet! I can’t believe that so many of you are ok with this. I understand that she’s just a girl and didn’t necessarily want these photos out. But we live in a sad, sad society when the fact that half naked, sexually natured pictures of our children’s role model is no big deal. I’m not saying that she should be shamed, but everything seems to be about sex and looking sexy and I don’t think that’s a good image to convey to children. We wonder why girls become sexual so early and have eating disorders and feel so much pressure to grow up so soon. It’s because we’ll accept anything- as long as it’s handed to us by the media. Oh yes and as for other people who keep insisting on calling her a slut.. Learn the true definition of being a slut before you call someone that. She hasn’t slept around that we know of. By her doing this she is probably just rebelling or asking for attention that she doesn’t know she’ll get. And her parents didn’t go anywhere wrong with her. Don’t blame them. She controls herself. Some people are saying these are photoshopped, I certainly hope so. I am not a Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana fan, but I hate it when someone tries to smear another person, especially a young girl. Soooo…I’ve compared MANY pics of Miley to the “underwear” pics and am CONVINCED they are fake. In the “scandalous” pics, if you look at #6 (I think it’s #6…the closeup one where she’s on the left, with her two friends…it’s a close up of her face, with a big smile. I compared this pic to many pictures from the gallery (on AOL, with 140+ photographs of Miley.) Miley’s eyes are more almond shaped than this other girls, especially when she smiles. But the MOST OBVIOUS difference is the TEETH. The girl in pic #6 of the fake photos has larger teeth, and no gums showing. In the MANY pics of Miley I looked at, especially with her face in this same pose, same smile…if you look closely..Miley has a little bit of her gums showing above upper teeth, AND…Her front tooth is large, canine tooth is large, but the tooth BETWEEN these two is quite a bit smaller. This the giveaway, and what absolutely convinced me. The girl in the fake photos has evenly shaped, larger teeth, and no gums showing. Open both galleries and compare these pics next to the fake ones & you will see it. Especially check out pics #33-37, 45, 58, 59, 65 (really obvious in #65, which is a good one to compare with because the angle of the face, smile and eyes are so similar. You can also see the difference between their eyes in this pic. Miley’s eyes are squinted & even more almond shaped when she smiles.) Also check out teeth in pic #77 & eyes & teeth in pic #104. Anyway, that’s my 2 cents worth. And I can’t BELIEVE I just spent so much time on this…HA!!

This is sickening! I am 30. I have a 15 year old niece, she takes pic of herself on the cell phone for her myspace page but nothing in a bikini or a raised T-shirt, with undies (not boy shorts) and puckered lips. Miley was obviously trying to be sexy for someone. Do not tell me that she took these pictures for her own use; NO, she took them on a cell phone camera and probably sent them to some boy. IDIOTS!! Unless Miley’s is wearing blue contacts, aren’t her eyes blue? In the porno-ish looking photos, the girl appears to have brown eyes. If you look closely, you can tell that the pictures of her in her underwear, she took herself. The mistake she made was in not deleting them after taking them. As a mother, I would not want my daughter taking pictures like that, but I do know that teenage girls will do that kind of thing sometimes. I would scrutinize the people that I let in my house though to make sure that these kind of pictures were not leaked out again.
For anyone who’s trying to say that this is “not a big deal”, you’re complete idiots. Having been a 15-year-old girl myself just 3-4 years ago, I can say that neither I, nor any other girl I know or knew has posted pictures of themselves in their underwear trying to look “sexy” online. I read through a lot of these post and quite a lot of people seem to agree that it is normal for a 15 year old to take these kind of pictures, but i think that its an out rage for any teenage to post a pic like the one in her underwear. It doesn’t matter if she is famous, we should all worried about girls who think its ok to post almost nude pics of themselves online. Ok, first of all, this may not be a huge deal. But it is typical for girls nowadays. Teens these days seem to have no self respect when it comes to anything sexual. There are millions of GIRLS ages 12 and up who post almost nude photos of themselves all over their webpages like myspace, myyearbook, facebook, whatever. These sites need to crack down on it. Its really pathetic. Not only are they posting pics, but they advertise they are sleeping with people, at that young. This world has really gone to shit. At that young, I wasn’t even thinking about sex. I’m 27 and I hate even the town I live in, pretty much nothing but little girls who sleep with everyone, even men. SICK, SICK, SICK. And they all think its ok. But it isn’t. I don’t think miley is like that, but I could be wrong.

I seriously don’t get why people are freaking out about her wearing her bikini? And as for the pictures of her in her underwear, they are not in any way any more revealing than what a bikini would show. I would argue that a bikini shows more of her body than the underwear pictures happen to show.
For those that feel a 15 year old girl should not post pictures of herself in a bikini are invariably stating that a 15 year old should not wear a bikini at all because people might see her in such “revealing attire”. So, for those opposed to Miley wearing typical clothing, I guess they feel all girls under the age of 18 should wear one piece swimsuits and granny-panty underwear.

I mean come on now, if the dumbest thing this girl has done so far at the age of 15 is taking pictures of herslef in her underwear and bikini then she should be commended. In response to Cassie, I don’t kno if you have looked at MySpace or Facebook lately, but I can tell you from experience, MOST 15 year olds ARE taking these kinds of pictures. And I dont think that it’s fair how much pressure is being put on young actors today. Yes, she is on television and therefore is automatically someone kids look up to, but maybe she doesn’t want to be a role model. She’s an actor, that is her profession. She’s not a teacher or a parent, she’s not a mentor. She didn’t pose for playboy, or take pictures of herself that were meant for her fans to see. What she wants to do in her private life should be left totally up to her. She may have started out as a little 11 or 12 year old when her TV show started, but eventually she is going to grow up, and it isn’t fair to her that she should do it based on what other people want.
