Mindy McCready: Hospital and Rehab
Mindy McCready just can’t stay out of the headlines. First, a drug bust, then Roger Clemens, now McCready has parked herself in rehab after a quick hospital stop.
“Mindy McCready did receive emergency care at Vanderbilt University Medical Center,” says her rep. “Other issues made it prudent for her to seek longer-term and broader-based treatment.”
The hospital confirms the 32-year-old was there on July 16th.
McCready was busted in 2004 for drugs and headed to jail for a 2007 probation violation.
“To her credit, she has entered into an extended-care facility where she will receive the care needed,” says her rep. “And for the moment we ask that everyone respect her privacy.”
On the plus side, plenty of life experience for new song material.
