Mindy McCready: Returning To Jail
Country singer Mindy McCready will be back behind bars tomorrow after she turns herself in to serve a 60-day sentence for a parole violation.
“I am working very hard to put all of this behind me as quickly as possible so I can get back to what I like to do most: sing, write songs, and entertain,” said McCready in a statement Monday morning.
McCready was arrested in June for probation violation for prescription drug fraud after being convicted on the same charge in 2004.
McCready also said in the statement: “I would like to thank my fans for their unwavering support as I continue to work on my recovery and to regain custody of my precious son, Zander.”
She entered rehab this past July for undisclosed reasons.
