Miss Teen Louisiana: Arrested On Theft Charges
In case you were wondering, a crown on your head and an “official” beauty queen title does not equal free world reign.
Case in point: 18-year-old Miss Teen Louisiana Lindsey Evans who was arrested over the weekend in Bossier City, LA when she and three friends left a restaurant without paying.
The ladies ran up a staggering $46.07 bill and were arrested when they returned for one of their purses that they accidentally left behind.
The three admitted that they were intentionally trying to get out of the bill and Evans was also found in possession of marijuana.
All four were released Sunday after posting bond.
Evans’ reign will end in November and a spokesman for the Miss Louisiana Teen USA organization says they spoke with Evans on Monday but have not decided whether to take action against her. That action could include her losing her title.
It ends in November like next month? How about we just ride it out and see if she’s got anything else dumb up her sleeves.
And also, what exactly does this “title” even mean? That she can brag that she’s the prettiest teen in all the state? Maybe one of the dumbest.
