Misty May-Trenor: Offically Leaving “DWTS”
Well it’s now official. Misty May-Treanor’s stint on Dancing With The Stars is over.
The volleyball player will be hanging up her dance shoes after a fall during practice caused an ankle injury that will require surgery.
“I ruptured my Achilles tendon and from that point on I knew I couldn’t continue. I’m out and I’m really bummed,” said May-Treanor.
“We don’t know why these things happen. They could happen to anyone. I feel like I was only just beginning here.”
Her surgery is scheduled for next week and will be followed by a nine month rehabilitation time period. Perfect time for starting a family?
“Having nine months off? That could happen. I was planning to take a little time off next year anyway, so this solidifies that,” she says.
