Morgan Freeman: Divorce From Wife of 24 Years
Actor Morgan Freeman is still in the hospital recovering from his Sunday night car accident and now he says that he is seeking a divorce from his wife.
Freeman, who is recovering from a broken arm, a broken elbow and minor shoulder damage, has been married to costumer Myrna Colley-Lee for the past 24 years but it looks like their marriage may have been over for a while.
“(They) are involved in a divorce action,” the actor’s Mississippi-based attorney and business partner Bill Luckett said.
“And for legal and practical purposes, (Freeman and Colley-Lee) have been separated since December of 2007.”
Hmm…why the rush to put this news out there. Was the female in the car, now identified as Demaris Meyer, more than just a friend???
