The 2007 MTV Music Awards nominations have been officially released.

Justin Timberlake and Beyonce are leading the way with seven nominations

In the Best collaboration category: U2 and Green Day “The Saints are Coming” are up for the award

For best group, director, and editing : Linkin Park picked up three nominations for their song

The show is set to air from the Palms Casino in Vegas September 9th. Performers for the night include: Rihanna, Fall Out Boys, Kayne West, Amy Winehouse, Timbaland, Foo Fighters, and Lily Allen.
