Naked Clown Calender: Nude For Charity

What’s funnier than clowns? Naked clowns according to the graduating class of 2008 from the San Francisco Clown Conservatory.

A group of 21 clowns decided that because of the great physical shape they were in from their training, they would be willing to appear in their birthday suits for a calender that would be sold to benefit folks with multiple sclerosis.

“Our goal was to create this sort of craziness in your mind,” says Chad Benjamin Potter, the lead clown on the project. “When you think of clowns you think of costumes and makeup and hair. When you think naked clowns, that’s something else entirely.”

I’d say it is. This concept is oddly intriguing even though I’m a bit freaked out. At least they are doing it for a good reason.

Why MS? Judy Finelli, 60, co-founded the San Fransisco school and was diagnosed with the disease in 1989. She is now quadriplegic thanks to the advancement of her MS.
