Naked Cowboy Isn’t Playing Nice with Naked Cowgirl

Naked Cowboy has some competition and he isn’t very happy about it. Naked Cowboy is 39 year old Robert Burck and he has made a good living traveling all over the US since 1997 and poses for pictures with tourists for a fee. Well, it was only a matter of time before a woman would become “Naked Cowgirl,” right? Well, it has happened and Burck is not happy about it! Entertainer, Sandy Kane, plays a similar role, wearing a similar outfit and posing for pictures. So, Burck sent a cease-and-desist letter where he demands $150,000 in compensation for copyright infringement. Part of his letter to Kane reads, “Your use of Naked Cowgirl is essentially identical to the Naked Cowboy and is clearly in violation [of the Naked Cowboy trademark].” I don’t know why I wrote about this because it is so frickin stupid. I guess I just wanted to post the picture of this dude and get a laugh out of how stupid people can be.
