Nelly Furtado: Married!
Surprise! Singer Nelly Furtado got married in a secret ceremony over the summer to Demacio “Demo” Castellon.
“We got married July 19th,” she told Entertainment Tonight Canada. “I love it.”
The singer continued, “It’s a nice phase of my life.”
The two worked together on her 2006 album Loose and were engaged last year. Furtado, 29, was recently spotted in Miami with a diamond on her finger which prompted the marriage question.
“I just feel kind of free and relaxed and more in tune with trying not to be so stressed out,” Furtado said. “[I'm] trying to enjoy things a little more.”
She also added, “I’m happy … I’m excited about the future.”
