New Seven Deadly Sins
The Vatican has updated their seven deadly sins, adding seven new ones to the bunch, including:
- Thou shall not pollute the Earth.
- Thou shall beware genetic manipulation.
- Thou shall not accumulate excessive wealth.
- Thou shall not inflict poverty.
- Thou shall not sell or consume drugs.
- Thou shall not conduct morally debateable experiments.
- Thou shall not violate fundamental rights of human nature.
Seems like the church is pulling a do as we say, not as we do with the excessive wealth accumulation sin, no? The Catholic Church is pretty infamous for having socked away quite a bit of treasure, not to mention their extensive land holdings.
Anyway, the seven deadly sins are Cardinal sins, and condemn someone directly to Hell, unless the individual creating the sin receives absolution somehow. So stop inflicting poverty on people.
