Nicole Richie, Not Above the Law. (Today, Anyway)

Richie Mug ShotNicole Richie was NOT granted an extension for her DUI trial today. Richie’s lawyers had asked to postpone her court date (set to begin tomorrow) until August 5, when her star witness, drug testing expert, Terrance McGee would be available.

You know who IS available tomorrow? Me. And I am a drug something expert and have seen the entire Law and Order:SVU series so that qualifies me as much as any of these yahoos to testify that driving the wrong way down the 134 is a clear indication that Nicole was probably intoxicated and probably shouldn’t be allowed to procreate. Not that they’ll ask that, but I’m sure I can weasel it in somewhere.
