Obama: Grant Park Victory Speech (Video)

Nearly a quarter of a million people turned out at Grant Park in Chicago last night to hear newly elected President Barack Obama speak and after announcing that his daughters would be taking a new puppy to the White House, he went on to thank everyone for their vote.

A record number of voters went to the polls for this election and early estimates say 136.6 million people cast their ballot this year. That puts the estimate at 64.1 percent turnout which is the highest turnout since 1908 with 65.7 percent.
