Oprah loses her puppy in a freak accident
Mediamogul Oprah Winfrey experienced an unexpected loss when one of her dogs were killed in a freak accident. Her beloved pooch, a Golden Retriever named Gracie was out on a walk with the dog walker and began choking on a plastic ball. The same ball that belonged to Oprah’s much older Cocker Spaniel, Sophie.
Oprah received a call 20 minutes later saying that her dog was not breathing “I ran barefoot out of the house and found the dog walker and one of my security guys pumping her chest,” Oprah says in the August issue of O, The Oprah Magazine. “Just as I reached them, the security guard looked up… ‘She’s gone.”
Oprah was flooded with, “tears and stabbing pain and disbelief and wonder and questions about how and why this happened.”
This however made Oprah realize that she needed to,”Slow down, you’re moving too fast… Thank you for being my saving Gracie.”
This pooch was the youngest of three puppies that she bought back in 2005. Gracie was one that she claimed to be the most affectionate and had a special bond with.

Awww, I feel bad for Oprah, no one wants to hear that someone’s dog died. I’d hate to be the dog walker who was partially responsible for it (even if it was a random accident). I wonder if she/he got fired? You know Oprah was really pissed and upset and probably blamed them since her dogs were in that person’s care.
