Paula Abdul Freaks out on Mark Mudd - Video
The freak out happened after Mark Mudd, who who sang George Jones’ “White Lightning”, was rejected by all four judges. While exiting the stage Mudd Muttered “All right. Take care and be careful,”
(Cue Abdul’s freakout)
“What?” Paula replied.
“Be careful in whatever you do,” Mudd repeated.
“Was that a threat?” Abdul replied. “That was a threat.”
I think Paula Abdul was going a little crazy, but then again when doesn’t she.

Okay- I grew up in the south and it is a common derparting term. However, in this instance….. He was pissed(Mudd) and he wanted to do a “scare” and cover it up at the same time like it was “harmless.” lol. So predictable.
