Paula Abdul’s Suspected Stalker: Found Dead Near Her Home

Someone crazier than Paula Abdul herself was found dead in her car yards from the singer’s house and it is suspected that she was stalking Abdul.

According to Officer Karen Smith, a spokeswoman for the LAPD, the woman was found dead from a possible drug overdose around 6pm, just outside of Abdul’s Sherman Oaks, California home.

“Our Van Nuys division did receive a call from the Ventura County’s Sheriff. A woman’s parents reported her missing and they thought that she may be at Paula Abdul’s house.”

All we know is that a woman was found dead in her vehicle … and police are investigating it at this time.”

The spokeswoman added, “We do not know the cause of why she died. And the L.A. coroner’s office will be following up with an investigation.”

“Paula was at the studios when this happened,” says Rob Bailey, a publicist for Abdul. “She was completely unaware of it until the FOX people were notified.”
