Phish: Reuniting For March Gig
Phish fans can get excited because the group has announced that they will reunite and perform for three nights at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia this coming March.
The group formed in 1983 at The University of Vermont and was comprised of guitarists Trey Anastasio and Jeff Holdsworth, bassist Mike Gordon and drummer Jon Fishman. Page McConnell joined in 1985 and Holdsworth left in 1986 and the group performed with that line-up until their self-proclaimed break-up in 2004.
According to their website, more touring will follow the March event and it seems like a smart move considering that they are one of the top touring acts of the past three decades.
Their music doesn’t make it into the mainstream too often but their shows bring loads of fans and are considered productions of their own.
Tickets go on sale October 18th.
