Raven-Symone: Cancels Her 2008 Pajama Party Tour
With tour dates starting in a little over a week, Raven-Symone has cancelled her 2008 Pajama Party Tour.
“Raven-Symone has postponed her upcoming tour due to unforeseen circumstances. Raven-Symone apologizes to her fans for any inconvenience this may have caused and ticket refunds will be available from the original point of purchase.”
What’s up with that? “Unforeseen circumstances?” Like what, she realized that she’s over kids and wants to hang out with people her own age? I hope she at least does the right thing and gives more of an explanation of her cancellation. Otherwise I’ll be forced to return my “That’s So Raven” DVDs and my “Cosby Show” DVDs. Oh wait, I can’t my anger at her out on Bill. Never mind.

My daughter is 8 years old and she loves raven we were not notified of this cancellation and we arrive at the Arena at 6:00 p.m this evening and there was no one there and we went to the ticket booth and saw a sign that the concert was cancel……My daughter was in tears….all she talked about was this tour…….my heart drop to see my daughter in so much pain…she is my only child and this was so unfair to her that we were not notified earlier. We just left the Arena about 15 mins ago and just to see that look on my daughter face was undescribable…I wish someone could have sent a letter or email prior to us going there….Raven you are still my daughters favorite but that was not fair……My daughter is in her room right now crying as I type this email!!!!
I am a mother of a 14 year old boy that loves Raven so much and was so excited to see her in concert July 13 at the Sacramento Arco Arena.. They did not even notify me to let me know that the tour had been cancelled! If it wasn’t because I was checking my bank account on line and saw a refund on there I would of never had known. I have not yet told my son he is at school but he is going to be so crushed when he finds out! This is so unprofessional and wrong how can they not notify all of us to let us know that it was cancelled! I am very very upset by all this.. Because my son has been wanting to see her for years and now that finaly she was going to come down and I got him really good seats on the main floor so he can see her very close they do this! My son is going to be so heartbroken I am just so mad I cannot describe my anger! I feel sorry for the rest of the little kids that are still thinking they are going to see her and they are not because it was cancelled and we were not notified!
I am upset really upset! My son is your number 1 fan he has posters of you all over his room and pictures and magazines I just wish this would of been tooken care of in a different way! You are going to brake my sons heart when I tell him the news today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am upset about the way the cancellation has been handled to say the least. I purchased tickets for my daughter and guest for an upcoming show as a surprise birthday gift. Well two days a go, I decided to print out the tickets to put in her birthday card because her birthday is tomorrow and surprise–the show has been cancelled. I cannot believe there was no attempt at notification and I had to do an internet search to get some info. So far I have only come discovered this site where I decided to air my grievance. I feel so sorry for those children who showed up at venues to learn of the cancellation. I am very disappointed in Raven’s promoters.

im upset that you canceled your pajama party me and my best freind were gonna go see your concert but now we cant! my grandparents bought us the tickets and a couple days l8r it says that you canceled it! we are very sad and disppionted in you but there must be sime reason why you canceled it! but we still LOVE YOU RAVEN!!!
I am 9 years old and came from Phoenix to Texas to see Raven. My Gigi bought the tickets for us a long time ago and got no notice that the show had been canceeled until she saw this web site the day of the concert. I am sure Raven doesn’t care, but she has hurt a lot of kids. I’ll think twice before I buy anything Raven again. CHEETAH GIRLS ROCK WITHOUT RAVEN!!!
I am also a very upset mother of a crushed 6 year old lttle girl! We bought tickets at ticketmaster in april for her july 7 concert,It was also for my little girls birthday! My friend and her daughter also bought tickets and went with us, the girls have been looking forward to this for two months! New pajamas,Raven symone goody bags everything! They were so excited and to see their little faces when the parking attendant said im sorry that concert was cancelled two months ago! I wish raven and ticketmaster could have seen that! How awful! And I totally understand a concert being cancelled but for a big company like ticketmaster not to contact us was shameful! They had my address,phone number everything! And when i called them last night as we left LA the supervisor blamed me for not watching tv and reading the paper he said it was announced! Are you kidding me!!! My daughter who adored raven, Does not want to hear her or even see her on tv, she changed the channel when she comes on so sad!!!
