REM singer a model??
Fashion designer Marc Jacobs has apparently lost his mind and contracted REM frontrunner Michael Stipe as the new male model.
I know skinny is in and everything, but how is a pale, balding, Holocaust-looking guy supposed to sell clothes? Where are the tall, ripped men, who make you want to tear apart their clothes and ravage them?
I’m guessing sales will be down this quarter…
Your comments on this are ridiculous. You are assuming that everyone else in the world is as shallow and uninteresting as you are. Michael Stipe, while I’m not a huge fan, happens to be an incredible guy, talented, intelligent, thoughtful, funny, charming and a survivor of the music industry. The fact that he is gay, over 40 and balding and Still hugely successful is a tribute to his immense appeal to people–Except the immature ones who think only beauty counts for attraction– I hate to be the one to tell you this, but beauty fades, awesomeness doesn’t. Maybe you should look into getting some.

You guys are retarded, half the people that flip through the magazines will be really turned off by that pic of Michael. Yah, beauty fades but that pic would not make anyone want to buy Marc Jacobs clothes! I think his music is great but some people should not be modeling!
