Ricky Martin: New Dad to Twin Boys

Ricky Martin. There’s a name I haven’t heard for a while. The Latin crooner, who shot to fame in the U.S. with the song “Livin’ La Vida Loca” in 1999, can now add father to his resume.

Martin had the twin boys via surrogate ie. he gave her some of his sperm in a cup and she returned the finished product to him and he will now take some time off to focus on his new family. (What’s he been up to anyways?)

“The children, delivered via gestational surrogacy, are healthy and already under Ricky’s full-time care,” said a statement from his rep.

And in case you’re curious, Martin answered the gay rumors in an interview in 2000 saying, I am a normal man. I love women and sex. I am a real hot-blooded Puerto Rican, but have never been attracted by sex with a man.”

Hey do your thing man. Let us know when your boys have their stage show ready.
