Sarah McLachlan: Splits From Husband
Sarah McLachlan revealed that she and her husband, Ashwin Sood have ended their 11 year marriage while she was promoting her upcoming album Closer: The Best of Sarah McLachlan-out October 7.
“I’m separating from my husband, so these are the songs about that,” she told Billboard.com, referring to her two new tunes, “U Want Me 2″ and “Don’t Give Up on Us.”
McLachlan calls the split “pretty gross” but doesn’t go into details about the reasons behind the split.
The couple have two daughters, Ann Sushil, 6, and Taja Summer, 14 months.
