      For so much attention to be given to promoting this disgraceful movie is beyond me. The fact that any fictious book so loosely based on historical events can be made into a film is unreal. Scarlett Johannson is no prize winning actress so its no surprise finding her in this film, but for Natalie Portman, an actress who I held in high esteem, and a Harvard graduate, to be party to this film is ridiculous. She didn’t even have the descency to research her role. Not too many people have the presence of mind to understand that not every movie based in historical times isn’t actually historical fact. For anything to be so careless with someone’s life is pathetic. It is tenamount to character assassination and slander. Now I understand why certain actors and director’s have said they made sure to research their roles out of respect for the people they’re portraying.
