September 11th: 7 Years Later
It’s been seven years since the attack on our country that claimed 2,974 lives and affected thousands more.
A ceremony was held, as it is every year, at Ground Zero where the names of the victims are read and four moments of silence happen to mark the time the two planes hit the towers and to mark the time that each tower fell.
The presidential campaign was put on hold and both Senators Barack Obama and John McCain made an appearance at Ground Zero.
It’s crazy to think that an event that is so vivid for so many of us happened before kids in the second-grade this year were even born.
