Shelley Malil:”40-Year-Old Virgin” Actor, Attempted Murder

Shelley Malil, best known for his role as Haziz in the 40-Year-Old Virgin, was arrested last night for stabbing his ex-girlfriend multiple times.

Malil, 46, was arrested after getting off an Amtrak train in San Diego and is being held with his bail set at $2 million for attempted murder among other charges.

Reports say that Malil came to his ex-girlfriend, Kendra Beebe’s, house and found her in the backyard with another man so Malil grabbed a knife and began chasing her and stabbing her.

He ended up stabbing Beebe at least 20 times and Beebe’s male companion once in the hand before he fled the scene.

Neighbors heard screaming and one neighbor says, “Her chin was almost entirely cut off. She had a huge gash in her arm that looked like a really deep wound that was bleeding profusely.

She asked me to hold her and I could feel a lot of gashes in her back as well.”

Beebe’s current condition in the hospital is unknown but she is expected to make a full recovery.
