Sherri Shepherd: Abortion Comment
The View’s Sherri Shepherd is getting a lot of feedback from a comment she made in an interview with black Christian women’s magazine Precious Times.
Shepherd is quoted as saying that she’s had “more abortions than [she] would like to count” and admits that during this point in her life, she was depressed and had low self-esteem.
“My sister was heavy into drugs, and we would have to go get her from crack houses. I felt if someone killed me, it wouldn’t even make a difference,” Shepherd said.
Shepherd feels she was saved by God and went on to say that fellow co-host Barbara Walters could use some saving.
This morning on The View, she did some damage control and explained her statements….
