Stephanie Izard: Wins “Top Chef 4″

Stephanie Izard, 31, won season 4 of Bravo’s Top Chef on Wednesday night and has the title “Top Chef” to brag about as well as the $100,000 she pocketed.

“This is the biggest thing that’s happened in my life,” Steph, who is the first female to win the cable network’s cooking competition, said of her win. “It definitely took a lot to get to the finals,” she said. “It’s definitely one of the hardest things I’ve done.”

Izard is from Stanford, Connecticut but now lives in Chicago and says her favorite thing to make is fish because of all the different things that can be done with it.
