Savante to produce and perform Sarah Tuft’s love letter to NY on 9/11

A highly esteemed cast of celebrities will perform Sarah’s Tuft’s play ‘110 Stories’ this coming September as a love letter to NY to benefit a related charity. To commemorate the Tenth Anniversary of 9/11 artists including James Gandolfini, Matt Dillon, Edie Falco, Sam Shepard, Patricia Clarkson, Kathleen Turner, Angela Bassett, John Turturro, Andre Braugher, Josh Lucas, John Hawkes, Michael Shannon, Stelio Savante, Michael Stuhlbarg, Aasif Mandvi, & Daniel Sunjata will share first hand accounts of the tragedy. *ALL SCHEDULE PERMITTING*

Tuft’s play covers the human side of history, without politics and agenda, giving voice to those who experienced 9/11 directly… a firefighter, homeless couple, cop, iron-worker, massage therapist, chaplain, K9 handler, a mother, an elderly bulldog, a South American photojournalist. Together, these accounts shine a light into the human spirit; revealing hope, humor and compassion in the midst of tragedy.

110 Stories was last performed at The Geffen Playhouse in 2010. Savante produced this Los Angeles premier and reprised the Bolivar Arellano role (South American photojournalist) in a cast that included Ed Asner, John Hawkes, Katharine McPhee, Sharon Lawrence, Diane Venora and others.

Savante has also joined the family feature film, The Investigation. Written by and based on the true life events of Richard A. Romano, who is the brother of Ray Romano. When an NYPD detective is forced into early retirement, he becomes a high school baseball coach and is lead to the most important investigation of his life. Kurt De Vries to direct. Florida has been good to Savante. He just wrapped filming on Four Elements Media’s secret agency conspiracy thriller TERMINAL KILL which was shot in Tampa. Terminal Kill follows a group of terminally ill citizens who are recruited to eliminate enemies that are a threat to the American way of life. Charlie Sheen’s Hotel was Drug Free

Finally, something has gone Charlie Sheen’s way……Cops responded to a 911 call for possible intoxication. It took them to the hotel room of Charlie Sheen where they found the room trashed, but they found no evidence of drug use. Sheen’s rep said the incident stemmed from a bad reaction to medication.

Alec Baldwin Rushed to Hospital - OK

Alec Baldwin ended up in a New York hospital after a caller believed to be his 14-year-old daughter, Ireland, summoned 911 to the 30 Rock Emmy winner’s West Side Manhattan apartment, WNBC News reported early Thursday morning.

The caller was concerned for Baldwin’s health because the actor, 51, was “unresponsive,” according to the Today in New York report. When police and medics arrived at Baldwin’s Central Park West apartment, he agreed to be taken to the hospital.

Baldwin was examined at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he remained for more than an hour before being released, said the TV report, which describes the status of his condition as unclear.

Reps for Baldwin and the hospital could not be reached for comment.

Tiger must have been in there trying to get a relationship going.

Was Alien Balloon Boy a HOAX?

A couple who frantically told a 911 dispatcher their 6-year-old son had floated off in an inflatable balloon remain in the spotlight, but now it’s for a series of bizarre TV interviews about the escapade, a previous 911 call and efforts to land a reality TV show gig.

Sheriff’s investigators hoped to talk to Richard and Mayumi Heene again Saturday to resolve lingering questions over whether the drama — with military helicopters scrambling to catch up to the helium balloon and rescue the boy supposedly inside — could have been a hoax.

It turns out, little Falcon Heene was hiding in the rafters of the family garage, apparently without his parents or two brothers knowing.

Richard Heene dismisses allegations of a hoax as “extremely pathetic.”

Yet doubts surfaced after a CNN interview in which Falcon Heene told his parents “you said we did this for a show” after his father asked why he did not come down from the rafters during the search Thursday.
