Vienna Calls Jake a “Fame Whore”

Jake and Vienna face off in an interview with Chris Harrison set to air July 5 on ABC. While to two agree that their relationship was in fact real and their feelings initially strong for each other, they disagree with everything else. An ABC press release states that during the interview, “Vienna calls Jake ‘a liar’ and ‘a fame whore,” while “Jake feels Vienna always undermines him and tears him down. They face off about who broke up with whom. Vienna defends herself against allegations of infidelity.” Apparently, there is quite an “intense verbal confrontation,” and then Vienna “bursts into tears and storms out, ending the interview.”

Perez Hilton Faces Child Porn Charges and Losing Advertisers

Perez Hilton is in some deep shit for posting a picture of Miley Cyrus’ underwear….He is not only facing very serious child porn charges but advertisers are starting to pull off his website. ABC Daytime just pulled a banner Ad for “The View” off Hilton’s website. An anonymous ABC source was quoted as saying, “It’s not a matter of whether you like [Perez] or not, it has to do with the morality of the issue. Miley is a minor, period. There are ethics involved in running an ad on a site that potentially violated the rights of a minor, and that is what the conversation is about at the network level.”

I get the law and all but why isn’t Miley being charged with child porn since she is parading around in underwear for all to see….and take pictures of….and video….oh yeah, and tweet pics of herself in underwear with her shirt pulled up…..don’t get it.

“Law & Order” Cancelled!

The long running show, “Law & Order” was reportedly canceled by ABC. The crime series has ran for 20 seasons and is one of the longest running shows - just behind The Simpsons. The last show will air May 24th…..But WAIT!! NBC is rumored to be considering to pick the series up. As in any true drama, we will have to wait and see.

Lane Bryant’s New Commercial to Finally Air on Fox

Lane Bryant’s new commercial featuring busty plus size models wearing only their bra’s will finally air on Fox. This comes after Lane Bryant accused both Fox and ABC of refusing to air their commercials yet aired Victoria Secret commercials on the same spots. Fox and ABC both denied those accusations. Fox sources said that the reason for the delay was that Lane Bryant refused to comply with the requested edits to the commercial to ensure complaince with Fox’s standards for the time slot (American Idol). ABC made the following statement: “Their statements are not true. The ad was accepted. Lane Bryant was treated absolutely no differently than any advertiser for the same product. We were willing to accommodate them, but they chose to seek publicity instead.”

Katherine Heigl Not Returning to Grey’s Anatomy

Katherine Heigl was supposed to return to the set of Grey’s Anatomy on March 1st, after three months of maternity leave. However, sources reveal she has not returned to the set and is pushing to be released from her contact in order to pursue a career in movies.

It is rumored that the show’s creator, Shonda Rhimes, agreed to release Heigl from her contract and now it is up to ABC and Heigl’s rep to work out the final details.

ABC threatens to blackout Cablevision….What the?

You may have seen the commercials…..ABC starting warning it’s cablevision viewers that if they can not resolve their dispute over how much their paid by the cable operator, they will shut down their signal. This will come Saturday night, just before the Academy Awards air on Sunday….no planning or blackmail there.

ABC’s parent company, Walt Disney, is demanding $40 million more per year to the already $200 milliion Cablevision already pays.

This blackout would affect 3.1 million viewers. However, if you have an antenna and new TV or digital converter box you will still be able to access a signal.

Nicollette Sheridan is Leaving Desperate Housewives at the End of the Season

Acording to representatives for Nicollette Sheridan, the star will leaving Desperate Housewives. Nicollette has been nominated for Golden Globe awards for her portrayal of real estate agent Edie Britt. Sheridan plans on leaving the show after the sixth season finale.

Sheridan’s departure does not come as a surprise, after rumored disagreements between the Nicollette and creator Marc Cherry.

Nicollette Sheridan is part of the original cast that debuted in 2004.
