John Mayer Quits Twitter

September 14, 2010 by David · Leave a Comment

John Mayer surprised fans when he decided to shut down his Twitter account. It seemingly came out of nowhere when a rep for the Grammy award winning singer announced, “With the Battle Studies Tour now at a close and a return to the studio planned, John has discontinued his Twitter account. However, he continues to communicate with his fans via his blog as he always has.” Mayer had an estimated 3.7 million Twitter followers and was a avid user of the site.

Chris Brown

Brown signed off of Twitter unexpectedly on Monday, following a weekend of expletive-spiked posts against music retailers and a music industry he alleged was “blackballing” him and under-promoting his new album, Graffiti.

Less than a day after alleging that a particular Walmart in Connecticut was not stocking his disc — claims that were denied by a store employee who said that location was merely sold-out of the disc, and which were refuted in a statement from a company spokesperson who verified the employee’s comments — Brown’s account suddenly went dark on Monday afternoon.

A short while later, the singer posted his final missive on @MechanicalDummy, “I WANNA THANK MY FANS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT. I LOVE YALL. GOODBYE!!!!!!!!!!!!” And that was it.

Hailey Glassman says Jon throws ‘Mantrums’

October 29, 2009 by m.coonce · Leave a Comment

Jon Gosselin is the father of eight children under six years old. Yet, he’s the one throwing temper fits, according to his girlfriend Hailey Glassman.

His 22-year-old girlfriend is going to tell “The Insider” that Gosselin throws “mantrums” and often takes his anger out on her.

“I shouldn’t have to put up with being emotionally abused,” Glassman says. ” I cry and say, ‘Why are you so mean to me?’ ”

In a two-part interview, she will talk about the trials of dating the father of the once picture-perfect family of multiples featured on TV’s “Jon & Kate Plus 8.”

“People judge me before they meet me. I get threats every day. I get called a home wrecker and a fat whore. People will stare or point. It gets worse every day.”

She says that she’s the first person to admit that their relationship is “not normal.”

“I don’t want to leave him all alone,” she says. “At the end of the day, I love him but I dislike him at times. When I love someone I would never hurt them.”

Miley Cyrus Raps about Deleting Twitter

October 10, 2009 by m.coonce · Leave a Comment

Miley Cyrus decided to rap a little video about deleting her Twitter Account. While it’s poetic, everyone knows that celebrities hunger for attention and SHE WILL BE BACK. I give it two months before she reopens her account and sends out an appology explaining that she was going through a real crisis at that point of her life. You’ll see.

Ask not for whom the teen tweets, dear Pop Watchers; as of today, she tweets for no one.

It’s true, Miley lovers: Hannah Montana is a Twitter Quitter. According to People, Cyrus has apparently deleted her page at the behest of her Last Song co-star and rumored boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. The farewell tweet? “FYI Liam doesn’t have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason,” the teen superstar wrote today. Now, the page is naught but a dead, empty link.

Apparently, there can be no party in the U.S.A. without her; #mileycomeback is currently Twitter’s top trending topic.

Jon & Kate minus $200k

So Jon Gosselin, took $200k from his joint checking account with his wife Kate, leaving her only $1000 for her and the 8 kids. Such a nice guy. All along, he’s been doing shows talking about wanting to stay with his wife, after his career didn’t pan out and it appears that his wife’s is taking off. As you can imagine, Kate is pretty damn upset about it.

Here’s some of John’s rants on Larry King. “I just looked in the mirror and I said, ‘I don’t want to be this person anymore,’” Jon said during his Thursday night appearance on “Larry King Live.” “I made mistakes. I know I messed up. I do regret a lot of things. But I have to learn from those mistakes and move forward.”

Upon learning what happened, Kate hired high-powered lawyer, Marty Singer, who is requesting a judge to hold Jon in contempt of court for emptying out a reported $200,000 from their account, RadarOnline.com reports.

“If the money is not immediately returned, we will be looking into potential claims against Mr. Heller if he had any involvement with the violation of the court order,” said Singer. “It is very disappointing that Jon Gosselin has escalated this to such an ugly place that her lawyers have to do everything they can to protect her and her children from his outrageous actions.”

Jon Gosselin Takes Money from Kate’s Bank Account

Jon Gosselin is a complete retard

Jon Gosselin is a complete retard

The nasty war between Jon and Kate Gosselin just took its ugliest turn yet.

According to Radar Online, Jon cleared out the couple’s joint bank account, leaving his estranged wife with just $1,000. Another account, set up for the Gosselin children, was untouched, Radar reports.

A source familiar with the situation confirmed the details of the report to PEOPLE, and said Kate plans to take legal action.

When initially reached for comment, a rep for Jon was unaware of the situation and had no comment.

The allegation against Jon caps an intensely bitter week between the couple, during which their TLC series Jon & Kate Plus Eight suspended production. The move followed the network’s announcement on Sept. 29 that Jon was being dropped from the show, and him saying he wanted stop the show because it was damaging his children.

Speaking to CNN interviewer Larry King on Oct. 1, Jon, 32, said he last spoke to Kate “3½ weeks ago,” and that she wants to keep the show going “for financial reasons.”

Asked by King how much he made from the series last year, Jon replied $1 million before taxes, $500,000 after.
