Wesley Snipes Headed Off to Jail

48-year-old actor, Wesley Snipes, headed off to federal prison on Thursday where he will begin serving a three-year sentence for failing to file his taxes. He was convicted in 2008 and has spent the last two years appealing the conviction. He will serve his sentence out at the McKean Federal Correctional Institution in Lewis Run, Pa.

Kelsey Grammer Engaged but Not Yet Divorced….

Kelsey Grammer confirmed that he is in fact engaged to soon-to-be wife number 4, Kayte Walsh. There is just one sticky issue…He is not yet divorced from current wife (and mother of his two children), Camille Donatacci. Grammer, 55, confirmed via his rep that the ring on 29 year old flight attendant Walsh’s finger is in fact an engagement ring.

Angelina Jolie Talks About Evading Paprazzi

Angelina Jolie sat down with Matt Lauer in an interview on the Today Show regarding her role in the new movie, Tourist, as well as to talk about her life with Pitt and their kids. Matt asked about the photographers hounding her in Venice. She replied, “We got around them. … We were sneaking out in decoy boats. It takes a little prep, but we do maneuver through all that stuff.” She seems perplexed about why the paprazzi hound her, saying, “I don’t find myself that interesting in that way. … I wear the same thing every day. I don’t go out. … It’s a weird time right now where there’s just so much of all of that for everybody…. I just assume the older I get, the more it will go away.”

Half Brother Ordered to Re-pay Dane Cook $12 Million

Dane Cook’s half brother admitted the he and his wife in fact embezzled millions from the comedian. The MA attorney general’s office ordered Darryl and Erika McCauley to pay restitution in the amount of $12 million and Darryl was sentenced to 5 - 6 years in prison while Erika was sentenced to 2.5 - 3 years in prison. Charges range from 27 counts of larceny over $250, forgery and embezzlement.

Charlie Sheen filed a lawsuit against Capri Anderson (Christina Walsh), alleging that she tried to extort $1 million from him. The suit claims that Capri threatened “to embarrass him and attempt to damage his career by going to the media with her false tale.” The suit goes on to state that, “At no time did Sheen assault, batter or threaten Walsh.” Charlie also alleges that Capri initially told the NYPD Sheen acted “like a total gentleman.”

Wesley Snipes was convicted of tax evasion in 2008 and was sentenced to jail time. The actor spent the last two years appealing his sentence. However, his latest appeal was rejected by a federal judge, who said Snipes “had a fair trial” and that “the time has come for the judgment to be enforced.” Snipes’ attorney said, “Wesley is very disappointed but staying strong and positive.”

Seth Rogan announced his engagement to Conan O’Brian and even gave “graphic” details of the proposal. He said, “She (fiance, Lauren Miller)was in our closet, changing, and she was literally only in her underpants.” He went on to say, “I had already kind of started [to propose]. … I didn’t picture it like this, and I know she didn’t picture it like this.” He then joked: ‘I figured the only appropriate thing was to place the ring on her nipple.’

De Niro Earns DeMille Lifetime Honor At Globes

De Niro will receive the DeMille Lifetime Honor at the Golden Globes awards ceremony on Jan. 16. Kevin Spacey made the announcement and described DiNero as being “universally acknowledged as one of the greatest actors of all time.” De Niro has been nominated for eight Golden Globe Awards and won once once for “Raging Bull.” He also has won two Academy Awards (for “Raging Bull” and “The Godfather: Part II”) and the Kennedy Center Honor.
