The show must go on. Blink 182 played their scheduled concert in Hartford, Connecticut last night. At one point during the show, bassist Mark Hoppus, added these words about DJ AM and then requested a moment of silence.
“This night is really hard for us onstage,” bassist Mark Hoppus said to the crowd. “We lost a dear friend yesterday. His name was Adam Goldstein. You probably know him as DJ AM. He was an innovator and a genius and he loved music more than anything else. Above all he was a very dear friend.”

Another crackhead died last night, only this time it was DJ AM (real name Adam Goldstein). He was found lying face down on his bed with a glass crack pipe nearby. When police rolled his lifeless corpse over, attached to his chest was a half used bag of crack.
DJ AM was known for dating Nicole Richie and for surviving a plane crash with Blink 182 Drummer Travis Barker.
Friends gather outside his apartment once word got out about his death. One of the friends had this to say, “He was one of the nicest guys I ever met - he was a teddy bear,” said a pal who saw him Tuesday. “I can’t believe he survived a plane crash and then this happened,” said a pal who saw him Tuesday.
