Lindsay Lohan Claims Her Drink was a Shirley Temple

Dawn Holland is claiming that Lindsay Lohan was drinking alcohol and that she smelled said alcohol on Lohan’s breath. While Lohan refused to take a breathalizer, she denies Holland’s claim. TMZ reported that their sources side with Lindsay this time. Sourced told TMZ that Lohan met up with a friend at the Viceroy Hotel in Palm Springs last to get her hair done. While she was there, she ordered a Shirley Temple and fries. She then headed back to her sober house around 1 am.

David Arquette is Drinking Quite a Bit These Days

David Arquette went back on the Howard Stern show again and embarrassed himself once again. Arquette said, “I’ve been drinking a lot…[But I don't] want to go into all that, because it’s really a personal, traumatic thing.” Arquette went on to say, “Everybody’s worried and concerned about me,. When I drink, I become a maniac.” Arquette’s confessed he is seeing a psychologist once a week and said the psychologist believes he is having a “nervous breakdown.”

Friends Tell Lindsay Lohan to “Put Career On Backburner”

A “source” close to the ailing Lindsay Lohan told RadarOnline that, “Lindsay has been told that she needs intensive inpatient rehab for at least nine months. The last thing Lindsay should be doing right now is working”, the source said. “What is abundantly clear to everyone is that the last thing Lindsay should be doing right now is work. Lindsay wants to work, and is resisting the idea of not working. She knows she needs help, but she has contractual obligations, and she needs the money.” Currently Lohan plans on meeting her contractual obligations which means she starts working on the film “Inferno” in the next 45 days.

Lindsay Lohan Interview Before Jail - Excuses Abundant

Lindsay Lohan did an exclusive interview just before heading off to jail last month. During the interview she professes that she was irresponsible and vows not to make excuses. Yet, the interview is riddled with excuses, lame explanations and blame. Here are some exerpts from her interview:

She blames part of her troubles on the tabloids idealizing hard partying stars, saying “I would look up to those girls … the Britneys and whatever. And I would be like, I want to be like that.” She went on to say, “I see where that’s gotten me now,” she says, “and I don’t like it.”

Here is another good one: “If I were the alcoholic everyone says I am, then putting a [scram] bracelet on would have ended me up in detox, in the emergency room, because I would have had to come down from all the things that people say I’m taking and my father says I’m taking – so that says something, because I was fine.”

“I’ve never abused prescription drugs. I never have – never in my life. I have no desire to. That’s not who I am,” she says. “I’ve admitted to the things that I’ve done – to, you know, dabbling in certain things and trying things ’cause I was young and curious and thought it was like, okay, ’cause other people were doing it and other people put it in front of me. And I see what happened in my life because of it.”

Finally, “These were my college years … but they were in the public eye. I was irresponsible. I was experimenting. I was doing certain things that people do 10 times more of when they’re in college.”

You decide if this sounds like an interview riddled with excuses or a fair explanation of all her woes.

Judge Presiding Over Lindsay Lohan Case Has Recused Herself

The judge presiding over the Lindsay Lohan case has removed herself over allegations of improper practices. According to TMZ, Judge Marsha Revel apparently contacted some medical experts in Lohan’s case without alerting the DA or Lohan’s lawyer. As such, the judge stepped down prior to the anticipated request to do so by Lohan’s lawyer. Great! The only judge holding Lohan accountable no longer presides over the case. Hopefully the next judge will follow in the same steps!

Lindsay Lohan May be Released from Jail Today

This is some shit! Actress, Lindsay Lohan has served one week of her 90 day jail sentence and could be released as early as today. The 24 year old actress was sent to jail for failing to attend alcohol education lessons. She has reported been in isolation for her screaming fits and is allegedly being harassed by other inmates regarding her relationship with ex-girlfriend, Samantha Ronson.

Motley Crew Lead, Vince Neil, Arrested on DUI Charge

Motley Crew lead singer, Vince Neil, was arrested in Las Vegas on Sunday on drunk driving charges. He posted bail and was released. Further details are not being released at this time. The best part of this story is just a week prior, Neil was interviewed by The Associated Press about his “tell-all” book due out this September where he states that he has not used drugs in 20 years and has stopped abusing alcohol. He is quoted as saying, “There’s just a point in your life where you kind of stop, that’s what happened with me. There’s other things in life than just drugs and alcohol.” Well, he might want to stop the presses and recall the book….

January Jones and Bobby Flay - Car Crash Cover Up?

Bobby Flay was not actually involved in a car crash himself. Yet, he is in the middle of the drama that has unraveled. Apparently, January Jones and Bobby Flay were at the same party that evening and they exchanged numbers. So, when Jones crashed into three parked cars that same evening, she decided to call Mr. Flay. Why, who the hell knows. Apparently he made it to the scene of the accident within 10 minutes and instructed her to go home, which she did. She showed up almost an hour later, wearing new clothes and chewing gum. Flay did admit to seeing her drinking beer that night and witnesses at the scene confirmed that they smelled alcohol on Jones. However, the police did not administer a field sobriety test due to the length of time that had already passed and there was no evidence of alcohol….what? Hmmm, police work and celebrity influence at its best!

Lindsay Lohan Avoids Jail By Posting Bail, Knocks Back Some Wine on Flight Home

WTF is up with this whole story? Lindsay Lohan misses her court date because she is partying it up in France during the Cannes Film Festival. She claims to have lost her passport but can’t explain why she didn’t finish her court appointed drug and alcohol classes. So, the judge issues warrant for her arrest. But, of course Lohan sideswipes that order by posting $100,000 bail, thus avoiding (what I was hoping) images of police arresting her as she descends the plane. So, what does she do on the flight from France to London? She kicks back and drinks some wine! Are you fucking serious? Glad we are so forgiving of a cracked out whore who literally throws money at the law in order to avoid responsibility.

Lindsay Lohan Nearly Bankrupt, No Prospects for Work

Lately we have seen Lindsay Lohan out and about shopping and partying. Yet, she is unable to pay her rent on time. She was two months, or $23,000, behind in rent and received a legal notice to either pay her rent or move out. To add to her financial instability, Lohan is having trouble finding work due to her unpredictability (as related to her drug and alcohol abuse). It seems she is back abusing alcohol and drugs as she has taken two spills in the last several weeks - one outside her friends home and one last night at Ubisoft’s “Splinter Cell: Conviction” Launch Party at Les Deux. People closest to her are again voicing concern for her life. Her dad is again speaking out in an attempt to push her back into rehab while sources say her mother is merely enabling her dangerous behavior by saying she’s fine.
