The rumor mill has been hard at work saying that Cameron Diaz and boyfriend Alex Rodriguez had split up. The rumors are not true, the couple is still very much together according to sources.

Diaz laughed off the rumors while promoting her film, ‘Bad Teacher’. “If I want to read gossip, I read about somebody else’s life. I can’t worry about what other people say. It’s fine to say whatever you want as long as you actually don’t know what’s going on in my life,” the actress said.

Sources have said that the couple is stronger than ever at Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards after party at Los Angeles’ SoHo House. The source went on to say that they were “very affectionate” and while mingling among friends, they kissed several times.

According to an eyewitness at the sports bar where they watched the NBA finals together, “They were definitely a couple”.

Sources say that Yankees star, Alex Rodriguez and actress Cameron Diaz have decided to call it quits after nearly a year of datig. “They’ve broken up. Cameron is hurt and betrayed, because she tried so hard to please him…She went overboard,” an insider has said.

The duo went on romantic vacations in Mexico and Diaz was spotted feeling Rodriguez popcorn at the Super Bowl.

Rodriguez is not upset about the breakup. Sources say there were a few ladies slipping him their number at the opening game for the Marriott Marquis Miami.
