Lou Dobbs Denies Allegations He Hired Illegal Workers

October 8, 2010 by David · Leave a Comment

The Nation recently reported that former CNN host, Lou Dobbs, and his company employed illegal workers. Dobbs once said that anyone who hires undocumented workers should be charged with felonies so this report is even more crushing to his character and credibility. Dobbs fired back while appearing on Good Morning America, “They went after me as hard as they could in a smear piece.” He went on to say, “And the fact of the matter remains I have never hired an illegal immigrant, never will. None of my companies have hired illegal immigrants, and we work very hard to make sure that we do not do so. My accounting firm goes through every single person on our payroll to make certain that they are absolutely legal in every aspect.”

Hooker Tells David Beckham To Drop His Pants

The hooker who accused soccer star, David Beckham, of having a threesome with her and another call girl said she can prove it by describing intimate details about his “manhood” and then having him drop his pants in court. Beckham and his team of attorneys turned around and sued her and the US magazine which published the “slur” for £16million damages. A source close to Beckham said of the call girl, “She is a malicious fantasist without a single shred of evidence to support her pack of lies. The writs stand against her, the magazine and its publishers. The statement is further proof that she has absolutely no evidence. If she had, she would have disclosed it by now to one of the many publications she has been trying to hawk her story to. It is not surprising that she’s had no takers.”

Joe Jackson’s lawyer recently served Dr. Murray with legal papers, said to be the start of a wrongful death suit. The papers claim that Dr. Murray was at the Strip Club, Sam’s Hofbrau the night before Michael Jackson’s death. However, Dr. Murray vehemently denies the allegations and his rep states that Dr. Murry does not drink alcohol and also said, “In the weeks before Michael died, Murray barely had time to take a shower.” Finally, a stripper at the club told TMZ that she recalls the night before Jackson’s death because she was a big fan and recalls that, “It was dead that night. Dr. Murray definitely was not there.”

Detained Academy Award-winning director and convicted sex offender Roman Polanski may have the support of some famous faces in the film industry, but don’t count Jamie Foxx among them. According to the actor, he only needs to imagine the 1977 case against Polanski is a personal one to find his feelings.

“If it had been my daughter who was barely a teenager — my daughter is 15 — Roman Polanski would be missing … period,” Foxx stated in an interview with Parade magazine. “It wouldn’t even get to the court case. But, that’s me and I wouldn’t want anyone else to follow that because you should let the justice system work it out.”

Foxx went on to explain that while his perspective might have been different had he known the director personally, as do many of his Hollywood peers, ultimately he believes “this whole issue is bigger than Roman Polanski.” So big, it forces Foxx to confront his own complex sense of revenge.

Flight attendant sues Oprah Winfrey

October 13, 2009 by m.coonce · Leave a Comment

A former flight attendant on Oprah Winfrey’s private jet is suing the talk-show host, claiming she was fired after being wrongfully accused of having sex with the jet’s chief pilot in June. In a defamation lawsuit recently filed in Chicago federal court, Corrine Gehrls, 39, claims she was fired after two other flight attendants — Myron Gooch and Kirby Bumpus — accused her of having sex with pilot Terry Pansing. The accusations were considered serious because the alleged sex allegedly occurred while the alleged plane was in flight, and we’re pretty sure the FAA is totally not cool with flight attendants and pilots having sex while they should be doing things like serving Oprah fresh cups of green tea and keeping the plane from crash-landing on a crowded freeway.

Gehrls claims in the suit she and Pansing were fired after the allegations were made, despite the fact that the they both took, and passed, polygraph tests. She is seeking $75,000 from Winfrey, Gooch, Bumpus (who is the daughter of Winfrey pal Gayle King) and Winfrey’s company, Harpo Productions. Harpo Productions says Hehrls’ claims are false and the lawsuit is without merit.
