Season 10 ‘American Idol’ judges and fans were all shocked when one of the favorites was eleminated. Pia Toscano was voted off by Americans last week. Something tells me we have not seen the last of Toscano.
According to sources Toscano is entering the recording studio in the near future to work on tracks for her debut album, thanks to a new contract with Jimmy Lovine’s Interscope label.
“Pia is being signed to a deal with Interscope Records, who are rushing her into the studio to record an album ASAP,” an insider tells Us.
“Starting [Thursday] night, after the show, Interscope told her they wanted her, and first thing [Friday] morning, Interscope brass started calling every top songwriter and producer in town to get an album together and rush release it,” the source said, “Papers are being finalized. It’s basically a done deal. She’s signing. They rushed everything, but she’s so excited.”

Randy Jackson, who believed Toscano was a contender to win the season said, “I’m never upset on this show, and I’m never really mad. But this makes me mad.”

Lauren Alaina also said, “Me and Pia [Toscano] were upstairs and the doors flew open. We were watching a scary movie before that and we were [already] freaked out. Me and Pia decided we were going to sleep downstairs, and James Durbin was making fun of us. [Then] he opens the garage door and supposedly sees a hand fall down.”
Durbin added, “I saw something white that looked like an arm. It freaked me out.”
Adedapo added, “we had leaks”, while Stefano Langone said, “the house was just kind of falling apart.”
