Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie donate to efforts in Joplin, Missouri.

On Friday, the Jolie-Pitt Foundation announced that they were making a $500,000 donation to aid in the recovery efforts of Joplin, Missouri. A tornado brought much devastation to the area last month.

“With the devastating loss of 30 percent of the city, the Joplin community faces great challenges ahead,” actor, Brad Pitt said. “Having spent much of my childhood there, I know these people to be hardworking, humble and especially resilient.”

Angelina Jolie, actress added, “Our hearts go out to the families in Joplin who have lost so much.”

Sources say the donation will go to the Joplin Recovery Fund.

The death toll is over 150 and victims are reportedly fighting a lethal fungus which was caused by the twister. The community last a hospital and miles of their city in minutes on that day in May.

Pitt and Jolie assisted in rebuilding a hurricane ravaged New Orleans.

Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox not as close as they once were.

There have been rumors that ‘Friends’ co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Courtney Cox are not as close as they once were. Sources say that the duo has not been photographed together in a year and a source has confirmed that there is some tension between the two.

The ‘tension’ reportedly began when Aniston’s views of Cox’s behavior which she was on trial separation from her husband, David Arquette. Cox and Arquette have been married for 11 years. Aniston did not approved of Cox hanging out with co-stars from ‘Cougar Town’, Brian Van Holt and Josh Hopkins.

Cox’s behavior reminds Aniston of the heartache she went through with her ex, Brad Pitt. Aniston and Pitt separated in 2005, then shortly after was spotted with Angelina Jolie.

“Jen thinks Courteney is acting callous by running around with this guy but refusing to file divorce papers. Like she’s playing mind games with David,” insiders say.

Aniston’s rep told sources, ” It’s a complete fabrication. There was no fall[ing] out and Jennifer considers Courteney to be a dear and close friend.”

Reportedly, actress Angelina Jolie has given her longtime partner, Brad Pitt, a special piece of jewelry to wear on Saturday.

The diamond pendant was made by designer Robert Procop, who Jolie will be partnering with on an upcoming jewelry line. There is a very tiny message engraved on the pendant. The designer has said, “I can’t tell you what it says, and you would need a microscope to read it.” He adds, “The technology is quite new. … The hidden message is lasered on.”

Jolie and Propcop are said to be close friends and she has worn his designs on the red carpet in the past. The design of the pendant for Pitt is said to be based on ancient Egyptians amulets which contain hidden messages.

Brangelina donates $2 million

Brangelina donated $2 million to the Nambian Wildlife Sanctuary given to Naankuse Lodge and Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is a home for orphaned and injured animals. The children have helped in feeding and caring for the animals in the sanctuary as well.

The donation was given in the name of the Jolie-Pitt foundation, which the couple founded for their daughter, Shiloh. The couple want “[Shiloh] to be very involved and grow up with an understanding of her country of birth,” said Jolie.

Angelina Jolie sat down with Matt Lauer in an interview on the Today Show regarding her role in the new movie, Tourist, as well as to talk about her life with Pitt and their kids. Matt asked about the photographers hounding her in Venice. She replied, “We got around them. … We were sneaking out in decoy boats. It takes a little prep, but we do maneuver through all that stuff.” She seems perplexed about why the paprazzi hound her, saying, “I don’t find myself that interesting in that way. … I wear the same thing every day. I don’t go out. … It’s a weird time right now where there’s just so much of all of that for everybody…. I just assume the older I get, the more it will go away.”

Angelina Jolie’s Daughter, Shiloh, Asks to Have a Dead Pet

Angelina Jolie will be on the cover of the December Vogue issue. In the interview, Jolie said her 4-year old, Shiloh, had discovered a dead bird. Jolie said, “She came in and said, ‘Can I have a dead pet?’” Jolie recalls. “And I’m … ‘Uh-uh, I don’t think it’s healthy, honey. I think they have to put him in a box,’ and I had to run out to find, like, a taxidermy bird. I just worked it out for her.” Jolie called Shiloh “hilarious.” Ummmm, weird!

Angelina Jolie Takes Over Twitter Account But Doesn’t Want To Tweet!

Angelina Jolie now has a Twitter account but she does not plan on using it. In fact, she has locked her account and is not following anyone else. A source told UsMagazine.com that “Jolie had her people obtain the account for her so no one else could have that username….There was actually someone else using @AngelinaJolie but Angelina requested the account suspended and took it over.”

Brad Pitt FINALLY Shaves that Nasty Beard

Brad Pitt showed up to the set of his next film project, “Moneyball” clean shaven and looking as hot as ever. The 46 year old actor was sporting a beard for the last year simply out of boredom, says Pitt: “It’s boredom. No other reason than that.” Angelina Jolie told Vanity Fair that she didn’t mind the beard, “I love Brad in every state.” Well, I didn’t and am so happy he got rid of that nasty foul looking pubic hair on his chin!
