Ashlee Simpson was recently spotted out with ‘Boardwalk Empire’ actor, Vincent Piazza in New York City. The two appeared to be more than just friends, according to sources.

The duo had their arms around each other, walking down the street with iced beverages and smiling. The two kissed right in front of paparazzi who were snapping photos of the two. They did not seem to be trying to hide their new romance.

Simpson and her soon to be ex-husband, Pete Wentz, were seen out with their son Bronx in March and were thought to be working on their relationship.

Jessica and Ashley Simpson are starting a new project together. The Simpson sisters are creating a new clothing line for tweens. Reportedly, the new line will be part of the Jessica Simpson Collection and will feature sportswear and activewear witha “girly, playful attitude”.

The sisters will serve as co-directors of the line. Jessica recently told sources, “Creating a tween apparel collection was a natural extension for the brand. “I’m excited to bring my sister, Ashlee, along as co-creative director of this division, because she brings a savvy rocker edge that defines today’s tweens.”

Ashlee is just as excited as her sister and told sources, “My goal as co-creative director will be to design clothes that will help insire young girls to express their personalities and creativity through fashion.”

The line is set to be available in the fall.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz files for divorce from Pete Wentz.

According to sources, actress Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has filed for divorce from and rocker Pete Wentz? A spokesperson for the couple has confirmed that the rumor is true.

The couple said in a joint statement that it was a “difficult decision” and that the duo will “remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority.”

Reportedly Ashlee filed the decree for divorce in Los Angeles on Wednesday citing “irreconcilable differences”. The couple has been together since 2006 and wed in May 2008.

Ashlee is asking for primary physical custody and joint legal custody of the duo’s 2 year old, Bronx Mowgli Wentz. She is also requesting spousal and child support from her soon to be ex. She is requesting that her namen be changed back to Ashlee Nicole Simpson.

Pete Wentz going back on tour…with family in tow.

Pete Wentz, after being on the road all the time with the Fall Out Boys, is ready to get back out there and tour with new band Black Cards.

“The great thing right now is that my family is very mobile and are able to tour with me. And I think that’s the only thing that would’ve been a hurdle. But the fact they’re kind of able to go, I want to be back out there,” Wentz said. Wife Ashlee Simpson and their 2-year-old son Bronx have told sources that they will tour side by side.

Wentz and his partner released the track “Dominoes” to kick off 2011. He hopes that it will be a very busy year. Wentz is hoping the band will be touring full time by the spring.

Ashlee Simpson talks about ‘Melrose’

You remember the series “Melrose Place”? Well, it’s still around and its rankings are going down. To prevent this from happening, the producers are writing out the part of teen heartthrob Ashlee Simpson (Jessica Simpson’s younger sister).

“Although I always knew her story would come to a final, insanely unpredictable end,” Simpson commented in an interview. “Playing a creepy, unstable character was something I always wanted to do, so I jumped at the chance. Thanks to The CW and the entire cast and crew of ‘Melrose Place’ for allowing me this opportunity!”

The young actress/pop diva underwent plastic surgery in 2006 with a nose job. Sources also claim that she regularly takes Botox.

Simpson admitted that she had a nose job in 2008, but she says that she has never had Botox.
