Nicollette Sheridan Drops Abuse Charges from Her Current Lawsuit

Nicollette Sheridan sued “Desperate Housewives” creator, Marc Cherry for allegedly hitting her across the face while on the set of the hit show. She claims that she was fired by ABC after filing a complaint over the assault. She then filed a $20 million lawsuit against the “Desperate Housewives” producers originally alleging assault and battery, emotional distress, gender violence, and wrongful termination. However, she recently dropped the assault charges. In return, she has avoided avoiding undergoing physical and psychiatric evaluation, which were demanded by the defendants.

40-Year Old Virgin Actor Sentenced to Life in Prison

Actor, Shelley Malil, was charged with attempted premeditated murder and assault with a deadly weapon and sentenced to life in prison with possible parole for stabbing his ex-girlfriend 20 times after finding her with another man. Malil appeared in the film The 40-Year-Old Virgin.

Sinefeld’s, Michael Richards, Snaps Again

Kramer, AKA, Michael Richards allegedly assaulted an LA photographer who has since filed a lawsuit against the actor. Brendon O’Neal, who works for The Shutterbug, filed suit and said that Richards approached him on August 25th and began punching him. part of the suit says Richards, “proceeded to kick [O'Neal] numerous times, directing the blows to [O'Neal's] arms, hands and camera.” Richards is also know for losing his temper in 2006 at a comedy club where he lost his temper and repeatedly used the N-word.

Ryan Seacrest Stalker Gets 2 years in Prison

Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr, 26, plead no contest to stalking Ryan Seacrest. The judge rejected the Uzomah’s request for probation and sentenced him to two years in state prison and also ordered him to stay at least 500 feet away from Seacrest and his workplace for 10 years.

Uzomah was previously on probation for three prior misdemeanors - assault, battery, carrying a switchblade knife - after he attacked one of Seacrest’s bodyguards outside an event. He then showed up at E! Entertainment TV Studios in LA, carrying a knife and trying to reach Seacrest.

Jodie Foster Denies Allegations That She Assulted a 17 Year Old

Jodie Foster is being accused of physically assaulting a 17 year old paparazzo, claims the boy’s father. Radar Online reported that the incident took place on May 29th at a popular shopping center called, The Grove. The boys father claims that, “Jodie pushed and shoved him leaving scratches and bruises on his arm.” Foster’s camp is denying these allegations and recently told Access that “The seventeen year old young man was a professional paparazzo. He had a large camera bag with a 1000 mm lens. He tailed Jodie and her children from the movie theatre to valet parking, crowding them and taking pictures the entire way. It scared the kids and Jodie definitely told him to stop.” No charges have been brought against Foster by the Police Department to date.

Suge Knight Arrested - Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Marion, “Suge” Knight, co-founder of Death Row Records, was arrested in LA early Thursday morning for assault with a deadly weapon and for driving on a suspended license. Apparently someone called the police and claims that Knight pointed a gun at them earlier that evening in South LA. Knight served time in jail in 1997 and 2003 and this latest stint could lead him back behind bars.

Porn Star, Jenna Jameson, beat up by boyfriend

Porn queen, Jenna Jameson, called 911 on Monday morning pleading for the police. TMZ.com reported that when the police arrived, they found Jenna with “visible injuries.” They handcuffed her Ultimate fighting champ boyfriend, Tito Ortiz. Jameson said she absolutely plans to press charges on Ortiz, who is also the father of her 13 month old twin boys.

Nicollette Sheridan Files Lawsuit Over Being Fired From Desperate Housewives

Nicollette Sheridan filed a lawsuit on Monday in Los Angeles Superior court, alleging that the show’s creator (Marc Cherry) hit her in the face and when she complained to the execs at ABC, she was fired. She is suing for $20 million for loss of future earnings. Her contract gave her earnings $175,000 an episode which could go up to $250,000 in later years.

In the suit papers, Sheridan alleges assault, battery, gender violence and wrongful termination. She writes that Cherry created a hostile work environment by “behaving in an extremely abusive and aggressive manner.”

She claims that on September 24, 2008, Cherry struck her in the face and the head. Sheridan then yelled, “You just hit me in the head. That is not okay. THAT IS NOT OKAY!” Cherry allegedly tried to beg forgiveness but Sheridan went to the ABC executives to complain about his abusive behavior. Then, in February, 2009 she was informed that her character would be written off the show. She claims in her suit that, “The decision to kill off Sheridan’s character demonstrates that Cherry and ABC intended to and did retaliate against Sheridan for her complaints about Cherry.”

Naomi Campbell gets away with assaulting chauffeur

Naomi Campbell will not be charged with assault as her chauffeur is now retracting his accusations that the diva model repeatedly hit him on the head. The 27 year old chauffeur, Miodrag Mejdina, had called 911 after the model allegedly flew into a rage over some drama with her billionaire Russian boyfriend and then escaped out of the Cadillac Escalade before police could respond to the 911 call.

However, not even 48 hours later, Mejdina retracted his allegations and even issued an apology to the supermodel saying, “On March 2nd, I had an argument with Naomi Campbell, I got angry and overreacted. It was a misunderstanding and I regret involving the police.”

The supermodel made a statement of her own, saying, “I was accused of unacceptable behavior towards a driver in New York,” 39-year-old raging beauty said in the statement. “I have worked very hard on correcting my previous wrongdoings and I will not be held hostage to my past.” She went on to say, “I try to treat everyone with respect and I am pleased the driver has apologized. I would like to put the last few days behind me and move on.”

Amy Winehouse Pleads Guilty to Assault

On Dec 19th, Amy Winehouse was at a theatre ,Milton Keynes Theater, in England, watching a performance of Cinderella. Apparently, she showed up drunk and was making noises during the show. A member of the audience told her to be quiet, which she did. Later, she went to the theatre manager requesting more to drink. When she was declined and asked to leave the building, Winehouse grabbed the managers hair and began pulling on it. Just like an old style cat fight between women. Winehouse was given two year conditional release and ordered to pay $140 in court costs and $150 to the manager.
