Gavin Rossdale would neither confirm or deny initial claims that he had a fling with a with a cross-dressing pop singer named Marilyn….An allegation first made in 1995 by Boy George and then again a year ago by Marilyn. That all changed when Rossdale opened up about the subject in Details magazine. He said, “I think at the outset there was a sort of fear … I’ve never wanted to appear closed about it. It’s not something I’ve talked about really because it’s always been in the glare of a tabloid world. It’s just one of those things: Move on. When you’re 17, Jesus Christ. I don’t think there’s anything strange about any form of — you’re learning about life. It’s a part of growing up. That’s it. No more, no less.”

July 25, 2010 by David · Leave a Comment

So this is a new one….The band, Kings of Leon, canceled their St. Louis concert Friday night, due to….ready…..Pigeon Poop! The band were 3 songs into their 20 song set when they called it quits. Followill, who is a self-professed germaphobe, was struck in the face. He told the media, “I was hit by pigeons on each of the first three songs. We had 20 songs on the set list. By the end of the show, I would have been covered from head to toe.” The funny part is that the band’s publicist said they did not know of any fans who were struck by the poop….Maybe the pigeons were less than satisfied witht he bands performance.

Marilyn Manson Settles Case With Band Mate

December 29, 2009 by m.coonce · Leave a Comment

The ongoing dispute between the performer Marilyn Manson and his former band mate Stephen Bier has reportedly been settled.

The dispute arose around an alleged breach of contract. Stephen Bier claimed that Marilyn Manson had breached a contract between them by using money generated from the band to purchase good for himself and his partner. Marilyn Manson countersued claiming that Stephen Bier has breached the contract himself by not performing in concerts, promoting the band and by not participating in the production of recordings (this counter claim was later dropped).

Marilyn Manson claimed that the partnership had been dissolved in 1996 and therefore the allegations were without merit.

In any event the matter is reported to have been settled the details of which are not made public.

Steven Tyler Reportedly May Leave Aerosmith

November 8, 2009 by m.coonce · Leave a Comment

Aerosmith may be looking to replace frontman Steven Tyler, despite the band’s 40th anniversary less than a year away.

Tyler’s possible departure is reportedly linked to the singer’s focus on his solo career. In an interview with Classic Rock magazine, he said he doesn’t know what he’ll be doing next “but it’s definitely going to be something Steven Tyler, working on the brand of myself — Brand Tyler.”

Classic Rock magazine reports that Aerosmith is planning to meet without Tyler to discuss possibly replacing him or going on a long hiatus.

Guitarist Brad Whitford said Tyler leaves “big shoes to fill” and that no one could imitate him.

“But, if somebody was willing to do it and the chemistry was right, why not?” said Whitford.

The 61-year-old singer suffered a fall off the stage during a show in Abu Dhabi, which reportedly put strain on the band that had to cancel the rest of the tour.

Aerosmith formed in 1970 and have released 14 albums. Among their most famous music includes ‘Walk This Way,’ ‘Janie’s Got a Gun,’ and ‘Dude (Looks Like a Lady.)
