Bruce Springsteen not involved in lawsuit in NYC

In response to reports that Bruce Springsteen was suing a Manhattan bar for playing his songs, the singer announced Thursday that the lawsuit in question was filed without his permission, The New York Times reports. The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) filed a copyright infringement suit Wednesday in Manhattan Federal Court, alleging that Connolly’s Pub & Restaurant failed to pay fees when a band publicly performed two of Springsteen’s songs back in August 2008.
Springsteen was listed as a plaintiff in the suit, but the rocker maintains he had no involvement with the legal action. “ASCAP was solely responsible for naming Bruce Springsteen as a plaintiff in the lawsuit,” said Springsteen’s publicity firm in a statement. “Bruce Springsteen had no knowledge of this lawsuit, was not asked if he would participate as a named plaintiff, and would not have agreed to do so if he had been asked.”
Brad Ferro Used to Fight in the Ring

Brad Ferro
The New York City schoolteacher who drunkenly sucker-punched a “Jersey Shore” TV hottie couldn’t last half a minute fighting a real man.
Brad Ferro, 24, of Deer Park, LI, participated in an underground fighting match, called Clash in the Cage, last January — and his opponent, Spencer Cook, knocked him out in less than 30 seconds with a hard left hook, according to a video posted yesterday by TMZ.com.
In August, the outclassed Ferro turned to fighting women.
He was caught on video clocking Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi at the Beachcomber Bar & Grill in Seaside Heights.
The brutish smackdown was featured in a video clip promoting MTV’s new reality show, “Jersey Shore,” on which Polizzi is featured. Ferro was found guilty of assault, fined $500 and sent to anger-management class.
That one-sided match also earned the Queens gym teacher a technical knockout — he’s been moved out of class and into a reassignment center known as the “rubber room.”
He has since been found guilty of the simple assault charge.
Katie Price Drunk - Again

Katie Price was out in London last night, and surprise…surprise, bitch got boozed up AGAIN.
Part of me thinks that this trick is just pretending to be drunk so she gets more attention. We’ve all known hos like that. Bitches who gargle with Listerine and then say, “Ooooh, I’m buzzing it!” Or they take a sip of Gatorade and warn you that they might start doing some “out of control” shit. You know you’re going to be spending the rest of the night rolling your eyes at their pretend stumbles and faux slurring.
I hope Katie is paying for her friend’s booze tabs, because they got all fancied up and had to spend their night carrying her drunk (authentic or fake) ass around. They probably got Katie’s tan diarrhea all over their fancy jackets.
Miley Tries to Party with the Adults
December 5, 2009 by m.coonce · Leave a Comment

Miley Cyrus doesn’t hear the word “no” very often — but TMZ has learned that’s exactly what she heard when she tried to get into a club in Miami Beach Wednesday night.
We spoke to multiple people connected to the 21-and-over Club LIV at the Fontainebleau hotel — including a manager, an owner and a rep — who all told us Miley and her posse showed up to party at the hotspot like they were adults.
They all told us Miley was turned away at the door because she obviously didn’t meet the age requirement … despite the fact that she has the voice of an 81-year-old chain smoker.
Miley’s rep tells us this didn’t happen … even though it wouldn’t be the 17-year-old singer’s
first time at a bar.
