Jerry Seinfeld and Donald Trump not seeing eye to eye.

Source say comedian, Jerry Springfield was scheduled to attend an event on September 13 for St. Jude Children’s Research hospital and the Eric Trump Foundation, and he decided not to appear. He has reportedly canceled his appearance because of Donald Trump’s negative comments about President Obama.

Reportedly, Trump wrote a letter to Seinfeld saying, “I just learned you canceled a show for my son’s charity because of the fact that I am being very aggressive with respect to President Obama, who is doing an absolutely terrible job as our leader.” He went on to write, “we don’t care that you broke your commitment, even though the children of St. Jude are very disappointed, and despite the fact that your manager clearly stated you are ‘truly a man of his word’.”

Trump is thinking of making a run at president for 2012.

“What I do feel badly about is that I agreed to do, and did, your failed show, ‘The Marriage Ref,’ even though I thought it was absolutely terrible,” Trump wrote. “Despite its poor ratings, I didn’t cancel on you like you canceled on my son and St. Jude. I only wish I did.”

Seinfeld’s representative has said that Seinfeld made the agreement to appear before Trump chose to begin questioning Obama’s birth certificate. He has grown more uncomfortable with Trump since then.
“Jerry … feels this kind of demagoguery has no place in public discourse,” his rep said. “He has respectfully withdrawn from the event, and is making a contribution both to the Eric Trump Foundation and to [St. Jude].”

Bret Michaels will reportedly be taking Seinfeld’s place.

“Donald Trump and his family have been wonderful to me and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital is one of my favorite charities, so I’m honored to have been asked by Eric and the rest of the Trump family to be a part of this event and help raise money for such an admirable cause,” Michaels said, adding about Seinfeld. “We should never allow the spirit of generosity to be overshadowed by divisive political beliefs — and when it comes to saving the life of a child, there is absolutely no room for political rhetoric.”

Miley Cyrus’ new single will hopefully hit shelves soon.

It looks like Miley Cyrus’ cover of Poison’s ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn’ may actually make it to shelves. The single was delayed when rumors started flying about Poison’s frontman, Bret Michaels, was having an affair with Miley’s mom, Tish. This was reportedly one of the reasons Billy Ray Cyrus was splitting from Tish.

The allegations of the affair were denied by both Tish and Michaels. Billy Ray has since called off the divorce.

Michaels has confirmed that the release of the single should be later this year. “The record label was supposed have to this huge humongous release of ‘Every Rose,’” said Michaels. “It was going to be Miley’s next-step song, but because of that, they stepped back.” “It really bummed me out,” he said of the postponed release.

Michaels thinks this will be a huge hit for the young star saying, “I think this is the song that will cross her over. If it happens, it’s going to be a big hit.”

Bret Michaels is undergoing heart surgery.

Former front man of rock band, Poison, Bret Michaels is scheduled for heart surgery in Phoenix today. The 47 year old rocker has been a diabetic since he was 6 years old and after he received treatment for a hemmorage in his brain in the spring, doctors informed him that there was a tiny hole in his heart. Michaels is hoping for a quick recovery and would like to be back at home in a few days.

Michaels was in high spirits and said, “I’ve done a lot of neurological tests, and they say I’m about 95 percent there. I still have a little ‘funk’ with my left hand that I haven’t quite figured out, but I think with a little more therapy, by one full year I’ll be as good as I’m going to get”.

Michael’s fiance, Kristi Gibson, and their two daughters will be there waiting on him when he is done. The rock star proposed to Gibson, 40, on the set of “Life As I Know It”. Michaels has said that they have not set a wedding date yet and that “it may be the longest engagement in history, but I took the next step. I feel great. Nothing has changed except for the verbal abuse that I now have to take from my buddies”.

He suffered a serious subarachnoid hemorrhage with complications, he won “Celebrity Apprentice,” was rumored to have had an affair with Miley Cyrus’ mom - which he denies. He has decided to end the year on a high note by asking his longtime girlfriend, Kristi Gibson, to marry him. He told People.com, “They swore I was the guy who would never…He then added “And it feels awesome.”

Bret Michaels has been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, according to doctors. Bret was told to hold off from normal activity for at least 4-6 weeks and to be re-evaluated every 2 weeks by his medical team. Michaels’ doctor said, “This produces a great deal of stress on the body……This is like being involved in an accident from inside.”
