Casey Johnson Death - Diabetic Shock
February 5, 2010 by m.coonce · Leave a Comment

The suprising death of Johnson & Johnson heir Casey Johnson initiated a media circus, with many speculating about the cause of death of the 30-year-old. Privacy boundaries were broken, dirty secrets were aired, and many assumptions that Casey’s death had to do with illegal drugs were made.
Now, weeks after her death, how she died is finally known. The coroner, who had initially performed an autopsy on Casey on January 5th, had to wait for toxicology results to be able to determine her cause of death.
According to a report released by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office, the heir died of diabetic ketoacidosis, a type of diabetic shock. The fact that she was diabetic and had been battling the disease since childhood was well known.
Through all the controversy following her death, one person claims she always knew Casey died of natural causes: her fiancé, Tila Tequila.
RadarOnline.com quotes the reality TV and online star as saying: “I always knew she died of natural causes while others kept insinuating that she died of drug problems and kept airing it dirty secrets from her past.
“I knew the real Casey before she died, and the Casey I knew was absolutely nothing like what the media and ex-friends made her out to be then everyone pointed the finger at me,” she continued. “I loved Casey and will never ever stop loving her. I’m glad she is resting in peace now.”
Casey was found dead at her home on January 4, 2010. It is assumed she may have been dead for days before she was found.
Tila Tequila Not Invited to Funeral

Guess that goes to show most of Casey’s family members didn’t think the engagement was liget. Tila has not and will not be invited to her fiancee’s funeral, according to the family.
“I don’t want to talk about the funeral. I wasn’t allowed to go, and I am so upset. I can’t sleep, and I am on suicide watch,” says Tila. Don’t tease us!

The family of Casey Johnson yesterday denied a report that the ill-fated, baby-oil heiress has been buried on family property in New Jersey.
“She wasn’t buried today. She has not been buried,” a source with knowledge of the situation told The Post yesterday evening.
Asked when and where the 30-year-old Johnson might be finally laid to rest, the source only added, “It is a private family matter.
The person refused to say whether Johnson — a diabetic whose body was found in her rented LA home Monday — was or will be cremated.
The comments came after celebrity Web site RadarOnline reported that Johnson, the daughter of Jets owner Woody Johnson, reported that the troubled heiress had been buried yesterday in New Jersey, where the family has a plot in New Brunswick.

Tila took to the internet yesterday to announce that she had a doctors appointment pertaining to her pregnancy. No one is sure if the pregnancy is related to the announcement she made last month; where she is planning to be a surrogate for her brother or if this is a pregnancy related to her being a total whore. We’ll see.
Tila Tequila Sure is Mourning her Fiancee

The friends of late socialite heiress Casey Johnson have turned on her lesbian lover Tila Tequila, accusing the reality TV star of cashing in on her girlfriend’s death.
As Ms Tequila seemed to enjoy the attention of photographers outside her home a little too much yesterday, Ms Johnson’s long-time friend Courtenay Semel lashed out.
‘The thing I find the most sickening is that the media is giving [her] the one thing she craves: attention. Tila, you knew her for a week,’ she told People magazine.
Ms Johnson, 30, an heiress to the £110bn Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical empire, was found dead in her West Hollywood home by a housekeeper on Monday.
Sources say the 30-year-old socialite’s life had been spiralling out of control amid a series of drunken binges and erratic behaviour.
She had reportedly refused many offers to go into rehab for drug abuse leading her billionaire father, Robert, to cut her out of a trust fund.
Last month, her mother, Sale, took custody of a three-year-old girl that Miss Johnson had adopted from Kazakhstan in 2007.
She and Ms Tequila, the star of an MTV reality show called A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila, had announced they were engaged several weeks ago.
It was Ms Tequila, 28, who announced the death of her fiancée to the world on her Twitter page.
Since then she has accused Ms Johnson’s family of wanting to put the heiress’s pet dogs down ‘to bury them with Casey’, a claim the family has flatly denied.

A catfight nearly broke out over Casey Johnson’s dogs Wednesday when celebrity friends of the doomed heiress tried to retrieve them from her “wifey.”
Reality TV star Tila Tequila refused to open the door when Johnson’s galpals Nicky Hilton and Bijou Phillips arrived at her Los Angeles house to claim the pooches, one of which is named Zoe, police said.
“They had set this up with Tila’s assistant and when they called her it went straight to voicemail,” said one source familiar with the incident.
“Three minutes later, the cops arrived.”
As Hilton and Phillips explained to the officers why they were there, suddenly “Tila opened the door and ran outside,” the source said.
The officers stopped Tequila before she could leave and got her permission to let Hilton and Phillips retrieve the dogs and other items, said the source.
