Fergie named as the Woman of the Year 2010 by Glamour

Black Eyed Peas front-woman, Fergie, was named the Woman of the Year 2010. She received her award based on her work with breast cancer research and AIDS awareness charities. During her acceptance speech she gave the following advice for teenage girls. “I think a lot of you teenagers try to get [esteem] from accolades from other people, or boys, and what you learn as you get older is that you have to create that within yourself.”

Oprah Gives $6 million to Charter Schools

Oprah recently announced that she was concluding her “Angel Network” charity by giving $6 million to charter school programs across the country. Some folks have come out to say that the talk show host (among other things) should have donated the money to ailing schools across the country, not just to charter schools. Listen folks, she donated $6 million….Until you start a charity and give away that much shut up!

Naomi Campbell Now Into Charity?

The queen bitch of supermodels apparently has a soft spot for those less fortunate than her. She recently launched a new initiative to mark the 25th anniversary of her modeling career. Her long time boss, Dolce & Gabbana, has produced a Limited Edition of 14 T-shirts. Each shirt has a ‘fashion portrait’ marking Campbell’s years in the biz. Each shirt costs $200 and all of the money will go to the charity, Fashion for Relief, which sends funds to world disaster sites.

How Much Would You Pay to Kiss Eva Longoria-Parker?

Eva Longoria-Parker auctioned off a kiss for charity, according to Page Six. The lucky stalker/winner paid $35,000 for the kiss the ‘Desperate Housewives’ star. The charity event that benefited global microfinance organizations.

I sure as hell hope the dude gets more than a peck for 35 grand, she is definitely not worth that money in my opinion.
