Melissa Ethridge’s Ex Has Filed for Full Custody of the Twins

People magazine has reported that Tammy Lynn Michaels, Melissa Etheridge’s ex, filed for full legal and physical custody of their 3-year old twins. She is also requesting spousal support. Ethridge is asking for joint custody and no spousal support. Michaels’ and Ethridge registered as domestic partners in 2005, prior to Michaels giving birth to their twins in 2006.

Paris Hilton Released Without Charge After Marijuana Arrest at World Cup

Paris Hilton and her friend, Jennifer Rovero, were taken into custody on suspicion of smoking pot. Rovero was the one found with the pot so she was fined while Paris was set free. Hilton’s publicist made a statement following the incident, “Paris Hilton was questioned today by police in South Africa on allegations of smoking marijuana. “However I can confirm that the incident was a complete misunderstanding and it was actually another person in the group who did it. The case has been dropped against Paris and no charges will be made.”

Tiger Woods to Pay $750 Million in Divorce Agreement

The terms of the divorce were intensely negotiated and are finally complete. Elin Nordegren will receive between $750 million and $833 million and will have full physical custody of the children. In return, she agrees to never speak publicly about Tiger’s extramarital affairs or write any tell all books. This remains in effect even after his death. The will share legal custody of their two kids and Tiger will get to see the children up to half of each week but, according to the Sun, he can’t be in the company of any woman when with his kids - unless he’s married or engaged to her.

Courtney Love takes to the Internet Over Custody

Courtney Love has again taken to Twitter, this time to rant about her plans to sue the mother and sister of Love’s late husband Kurt Cobain over custody of daughter Frances Bean.

Using the new Twitter handle CourtneyLoveUK, the Hole frontwoman insisted: “this s–t with the bean needs to be exposed for what it is right f–king NOW enough.”

Love, 45, also wrote (spelling and grammar hers): “they squeesed my bank accounts so that they were frozen because they know im going to sue the holy s–t out of them and now are … crocodiling my kid whose better than this seriously she was raised too well to be bought,” referring to her daughter’s grandmother, Kimberly Dawn Cobain, and aunt Wendy O’Connor.

Love, 45, has a temporary restraining order against her that prevents her from contacting her 17-year-old daughter.

Another Tweet from Love proclaims: “im severely lonely without my best friend and no am not on drugs BTW.”

Courtney Love Losses Custody of Her Daughter

Courtney Love no longer has legal control of her daughter. TMZ has learned a legal guardian has been appointed to care for 17-year-old Frances Bean Cobain. Guardianships of this nature are frequently established when the parent is not capable of taking care of their children. The guardians appointed by the court are Wendy O’Connor, Kurt Cobain’s mom, and Kimberly Dawn Cobain, Kurt’s sister. The guardianship was established on Friday. Courtney Love was not in court. The guardianship is for both Frances Bean personally and her financial well-being. The guardians do not have power over the trust established after Kurt Cobain’s death. The guardianship was established after a fairly long period of unstable conduct by Courtney Love. The court proceedings, however, are sealed.

Peter Cook and Christie Brinkley settle in Court

An episode of he-said, she-said finger-pointing between supermodel Christie Brinkley and ex-husband Peter Cook ended in a settlement Tuesday over custodial issues related to their two children.

Following negotiations that lasted until 2 a.m., the two signed an agreement before State Supreme Court Judge Mark Cohen in Riverhead Tuesday morning.
