It’s a Baby Girl for Mario Lopez
First time dad, Mario Lopez, welcomes a baby girl into his life. Th 36 year old host of “The Extra” and his 28 year old girlfriend waited until the delivery day to learn their baby’s sex. They named their daughter Gia Francesca Lopez. He told Extra, “We are so overjoyed. What an amazing, wonderful and overwhelming experience to welcome our daughter into the world.”
Michelle McGee’s Dad Says She Was Surpised to See Bullock and James Together at the Oscars

Michelle McGee’s dad, Denny McGee, told a WJW-TV (a Fox affiliate in Cleveland) that his daughter truly believed that James and Bullock were separated. Apparently, she became angry when she saw them together at the Oscars and decided to go public shortly thereafter. According to her father, “She felt [betrayed] . . . She felt like she was going to have a relationship and this happened, and she was mad.”
Apparently she even had conversations with her dad about her relationship with Jesse James. Her dad recalls the conversation, “She told me that she was with Jesse James . . . the motorcycle guy. I’m like, ‘Oh, I thought he was married to Sandra Bullock.’ She goes, ‘Well, they were, but now they have a thing where they kind of live apart.’ ”
Michelle’s father also talked about how Michelle is currently “in seclusion” right now and he defended her parenting, calling her “a really good mother.”
Britney Spears Appears in Court
Remember so long ago — two years, already? — when old school pop tart Britney Spears was going through an acting-out phase? The shaved head, the unladylike flashings, the British accent, the consorting with Rasputin-like paparazzi? All of that fun ended up with a court turning over her affairs to a conservatorship overseen by her father.
And it worked! Brit went on a world tour, made a lot of money, has a steady boyfriend, and has had no public meltdowns. So when she went back to court Friday, one could be forgiven for thinking the bindings might be loosened a bit. But it was not to be. The changes turned out to be minor.
Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz approved a request to donate a dress to charity that Spears wore to the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. The proceeds will benefit relief efforts in Haiti.
The court also granted her father authority to get rid of some of Spears’ property that was used during last year’s “Circus” tour. The items are described as being “valueless” and occupying several storage containers.
No other changes were announced during a brief open session after Spears had left the courtroom.
It was Spears’ first meeting with Goetz since the singer concluded a world tour promoting the “Circus” album last year.

Lindsay Lohan has taken to Twitter to slam her dad Michael, following reports that he is seeking conservatorship over her, and that he’s offered an entertainment TV show tape-recorded conversations between himself and his ex-wife, Dina, in which they discuss their daughter’s well-being.
“My father is a lunatic & doesn’t even deserve such a title since he’s never been around in my life other than when he’d threaten me & my family,” Tweeted Lindsay, who just finished shooting the thriller Machete opposite Robert DeNiro. “He should be where he has always put himself after verbally abusing and physically abusing people all my life-behind bars.”

Jon Gosselin sued by TLC

The TLC network is suing Jon Gosselin for breaching his contract as star of the now-shelved Jon & Kate Plus 8.
The lawsuit, filed Friday in Maryland, alleges that the Father of the Year (just kidding) hasn’t met the obligations of his contract as an exclusive employee, has appeared on other programs for pay and made unauthorized disclosures about the show.
The network didn’t mention Jon’s various affairs with bartenders, nannies and college students.
